Bespoke 3D visuals for new builds and extensions. Founded by Spire co-founder Matt during the pandemic — twelve years on the tools, now turning customers' plans into something they can actually see.
MAK Designs was started by Spire co-founder Matt during the pandemic. After twelve years working in the construction industry, he took that on-site expertise and turned it into a service for the people commissioning the builds themselves.
MAK creates bespoke 3D visuals for new builds and extensions — used to support planning permission and planning applications, so projects keep moving rather than stalling at the council. The work is built in a fully 3D environment, so the result is realistic enough for customers to genuinely see their vision before a single brick is laid.
For homeowners, it means seeing the kitchen extension before signing off the plans. For architects and builders, it means a planning pack that explains itself.
MAK Designs is Matt's studio. You'll know him from the rides and the runs — he's also one of Spire's four founders. The studio is the day job, born during the pandemic, built on twelve years on the tools.
That construction background is the whole point: every visual is grounded in how a building actually goes together, not just how it looks rendered. The plans make sense, the planning pack lands, and the project keeps moving.
